چکیده
Summary Data recorded by distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) along an optical fibre sample the spatial and temporal properties of seismic wavefields at high density. Often leading to massive amount data when collected for monitoring many kilometre long cables. The spatially coherent signals from weak arrivals within are often obscured incoherent noise. We present a flexible computationally efficient filtering technique, which makes use dense sampling that can handle large data. presented adaptive frequency–wavenumber filter suppresses noise while amplifying wavefield. analyse response in time spectral domain, we demonstrate its performance on noisy set was vertical borehole observatory showing active passive phase arrivals. Lastly, performant open-source software implementation enabling real-time DAS sets.

De-Noising Of Speech Signal Using Adaptive Filter Algorithms
Interference or Noise is the major issue in any communication system. It has been used LMS and NLMS adaptive filters to de-noise the noisy signal and compare with the performance of these filters. Adaptive algorithms are the most effective and elementary. This paper investigates the noise cancellation capabilities of the adaptive filters.
متن کاملDe-Noising Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) Data Using an Exponential Gradient Filter
Unlike Gaussian noise, Rician noise filtering is more challenging, since this type of noise exists in Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) data which makes the analysis of fMRI data very difficult for experimental and clinical purposes. To cope with the situation, normally (smoothing) de-noising is done before the analysis of the data using conventional methods like Gaussian filtering a...
متن کاملDe-noising the ECG Signal Using DWT and Kernel Adaptive Filter
The use of electrocardiogram (ECG) plays significant role in the diagnosis of heart disease and human computer interface etc. But, the ECG signals get affected from different types of noise during data acquisition due to which it faces the problem to detect actual abnormality. De-noising of the ECG signal is so indispensable and for de-noising it various researcher work in this area. In this wo...
متن کاملAdaptive De-Noising of Low SNR Signals
In 1992 David Donoho has introduced the term de-noising. Despite its advantages, this method isn't used yet in communications. The goal of this paper is to adapt this method to the requirements of communications, especially for low SNR signals. Our contribution is a new threshold's value search method, that realizes the maximization of the signal to noise ratio at the output of the de-noising s...
متن کاملNovel Seismic Correction Approaches without Instrument Data, Using Adaptive Methods and De-noising
This paper compares two adaptive methods of de-convolving the instrument responses from seismic events against the standard single-degree-of-freedom (SDOF) method. The Least Mean Squares (LMS) algorithm and the square root, Recursive Least Squares (RLS) algorithm are considered and investigated using three seismic events. Both adaptive methods do not assume any knowledge of instrument data, but...
